OUR APPROACH
SRG communicates dignity and worth to those we serve, because we believe that all people are inherently valuable, having been made in the image of their Creator. We seek to cultivate genuine relationships rooted in love, honoring people as individuals, rather than regarding them as tasks or projects.
SRG’s collaborative model enables resource partners (RPs)—those who support SRG’s work through financial commitment and prayer—to enjoy a high kingdom return on investment and resource more of what ultimately matters in the lives of individuals, families, and communities–projects that build up and strengthen Christ’s church.
Since our founding, SRG has operated with a rigorous process to identify high-potential partners in under-resourced regions. We fund frontline partners only after careful due diligence to ensure potential impact, accountability, and transparency. Their projects are then organized using ministry funds–similar to mutual funds–managed by teams of experts in that region, country, or sector.
By prioritizing collaboration and regional leadership expertise, SRG and RPs have seen an incredible return on kingdom investment in a relatively short time. These high-return activities include multiplying disciples, increasing biblical literacy and theological understanding, and training pastors and church leaders in vital skills.
SRG also partners with frontline organizations to deliver critical services, such as aiding displaced peoples and refugees, responding to natural disasters, facilitating trauma healing services, advancing high-impact gospel media initiatives, and supporting local communities through social and economic challenges.
We set a high standard of accountability for our earthly stewardship of resources, because our ultimate accountability is to God. The SRG model ensures that projects with the greatest capacity for success and fruitfulness are funded. With each partner investment, we expect to reap an eternal return–lives changed, believers growing in spiritual maturity, and the formation of new healthy churches.
A Strategic Approach for High Return
SRG’s proven model has allowed us to become one of the largest funding sources in the areas we serve, with more than $300 million deployed to date.
- COLLABORATIVE MUTUAL FUND APPROACH: SRG is highly collaborative and invests capital to fund a portfolio of thoroughly vetted opportunities with an emphasis on sustainability and impact.
- MULTI-PHASE DUE DILIGENCE: SRG requires prospective frontline partners to complete a due diligence process prior to receiving funds. This process is both relational and knowledge-seeking. Partners are not simply assessed, vetted, and approved once; they benefit from ongoing due diligence, such as bi-annual reports and organizational health reviews.
- EXPERIENCED PORTFOLIO MANAGERS: SRG consultants and team have over 300 years’ combined experience in the Middle East and speak all the primary languages. Portfolio consultants generally have extensive experience in the Greater Middle East region and may have lived there prior to working with SRG. As part of their consultancy work, they oversee the ongoing refinement of a fund’s strategy, develop relationships with ministry partners, recommend projects for investment, and perform due diligence.
- FOCUS ON INDIGENOUS LEADERS: We prioritize partnerships with both male and female indigenous leaders and believers who have intimate knowledge of local culture.
- ADDRESSING GAPS: SRG proactively seeks out and addresses critical gaps where partners are not yet meeting needs.
